Since I have gotten out of the Army in 2006 I have struggle with my weight, and you wouldn't think I would after doing 30+ mins of pt and walking around 2 miles to my house after work. But I keep gaining. I started losing back in March of 2013 kept losing until we found out about our little KatyBug. After she was here it started to come back off little by little, but since I have stop breastfeeding two months ago I have done nothing but gain. I would start exercising and for some reason stop after a week. I think it is because as much as Dlog wants me to lose weight he can't help himself to make a punch or two when I do, even when he goes on a walk with me he will make a joke or something. So I would stop and never pick back on the next Monday when he would be at work.
Well last night I took a look at the scale, before I stopped breastfeeding I weighed 270 lbs and in the three months since then I have gained almost 40 lbs. And I can't help but sit back and think what the hell happened to that girl that in 2005 weighed 140 and was happy about who she was and didn't think twice what people thought. I know what happened to her. She stopped eating breakfast, would eat junk in the defac and fast food for dinner if she had the money, otherwise it was quick meal full of grease and fat. Then she stopped eating lunch too and would eat double for dinner and snack before and after. And after leaving the Army she stopped exercising altogether.
Well enough is enough no more excuses. I will lose this weight and I will do it the right way, exercise and eating right (once I get myself to a point where I am eating breakfast and lunch again). Right now I am putting Hydroxycut drops into my water first thing in the morning to boost my energy and at lunch to keep me going.
My routine for now on. (I'm not going to put in every little thing I do)
Monday - Friday
Up by 9:30 am (will get earlier and earlier the further along I go)
Make my Hydroxycut water
Do Jillian Michaels 20 min, 30 Day Shred (level 1 for the next 14 business days)
10 am Breakfast (Special K Protein Shake)
Around 1 do another Hydroxycut water
Do a 10 min Yoga routine
1:30 pm Lunch (Breakfast Essentials Shake, and Special K Protein Bar)
6 pm Dinner will be normal, but will be half what I would normally eat.
Our diet now is either fast food which I am staying away from, if we go out I will get a salad and water, or chicken, fish, or pork with rice or potatoes and a veggie. Nothing is cooked in grease and we only use coconut oil now. My snacks are popcorn only with salt.
